Respecting our customers' privacy is an important and serious issue for us. We want you to know which data we store, when and how we use it. Our data protection procedures are in conformity with the Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz - BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (Telemediengesetz - TMG).
Storage and use of personal data
uhrcenter stores and uses order and personal data including addresses and E-Mail addresses exclusively for carrying out its orders and possible complaints. We use your E-Mail address only for letters containing information on your order and, in case this is in accordance with your wishes, for our own newsletter or for a participation in one of our competitions. As they are highly sensitive, credit card data are not stored at uhrcenter. This means you have to enter your credit card data afresh for every order, but this is the safest method for you.
If we send the goods before payment, e.g. payment on invoice, we authorise our service provider Domnowski Inkasso GmbH, Am Pulverschoppen 17, 59071 Hamm to obtain creditworthiness related information from Schufa, InFoScore or Accumio in order to protect our interests where required. Your legitimate interests are respected according to legal requirements.
Cookies
Our cookies do not contain users' personal information, i.e. we can not find out which user has called up which data. Cookies enable our system to recognise your browser and to offer you services like the storage of your shopping basket between visits of our website. Without your explicit permission we shall not link the information in our cookies to your personal data.
We use cookies for particular sessions in order to analyse usage patterns and structures for our website. In this way we are perpetually optimising our website by improving the contents or the personalisation and also for simplifying the usage. uhrcenter does not pass your personal data including post address and E-Mail address on to third parties. The only exception to this is the transfer to our service partners, for example DHL or credit card companies, who require the transfer of data for carrying out an order. The amount of data transmitted for this purpose is restricted to what is genuinely required.
Transmitting your personal data
The transmission of your data is protected by uhrcenter during the order transaction by a secure SSL link. SSL (secure socket layer) is a form of security technology ensuring that all personal data including credit card information is transferred via the Internet securely. The data are coded in such a way that they are only readable for the payment system. SSL protocol used: SSL 3.0, AES with up to 256 Bit encryption, RC4 with up to 128 Bit encryption, RSA with 2048 Bit.
Customer account
We provide you with the possibility of storing your personal data in a password-protected customer account so that when you make your next purchase you do not need to re-input your name and address. The data are then entered automatically to the order form. Via the menu item "Your Account" you have at all times the possibility of deleting your customer account or of changing the password.
Google Analytics web statistics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. Google Analytics uses so-called cookies that are text files stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information produced by the cookie on your use of the website (including your IP address) is transferred to a Google server and stored there. Social Plugins

Accessing information on your personal data
You have a right to be informed about which of your data is stored by uhrcenter and also a right to have it corrected, deleted and access to it barred. If deletion conflicts with any legal, contractual, commercial or fiscal record retention periods or with any other legally binding reasons, the data must be blocked instead of deleted.
