Ecologically sensible, aesthetically valuable: wooden clocks and watches are in vogue. The sustainable time indicators are available for the wrist and – quite a bit bigger – for the wall. Huamet, a young brand from South Tyrol, produces really beautiful wall clocks made of wood. By the way, "Huamet" is the word for "homeland" in the local dialect. And the close relation to one's own origin and language can be literally read off the dial on some of the wood clocks: with hour indications in South Tyrolean dialect. So welcome "dahuam" ("at home")! In your feel-good home with a new wooden wall clock. And in the homeland of Huamet.

Tobias Egger, Armin Laimer and Florian Schwienbacher: these are the names of the founders of Huamet. In their "Huamet", which means their "homeland", which is the small town of St. Walburg in the beautiful Ultental in South Tyrol, the three sympathetic young boys are probably better known as Tobi, Armin and Flori. In any case, the boys all radiate that attractive charm of their down-to-earth attitude and amiable familiarity.
Maybe this is why they also manage to combine with their still young brand Huamet unsuspicious love of homeland and exemplary ecological behaviour in a very convincing way – and in this way contribute in their very own manner to the still unbroken trend for wooden clocks and wall clocks.
By the way, the solid basis for the creation of wooden clocks is the trio's comprehensive, long-term know-how in wood processing, especially in the laser cutting and laser engraving of wood. All watches in their small in-house joinery are still made exclusively by hand. Consistently homegrown types of wood are used: oak, pine and to a large extent nut.
Unique pieces are definitely guaranteed. The unique character of each clock is additionally emphasized by the always different grain of the timbers. But the purely natural wall clocks also convince with their precise and quiet quartz movements with sweeping second hand. Of course, what is most noticeable about the clocks is the authenticity and simplicity of their design.
At Huamet, "natural" means keeping nature's products as nature has created them – creating products in the way that nature itself left them to man. "Sustainability" and "environmental friendliness" are not just pithy marketing phrases here, but are actually practiced daily as binding guidelines.
So may we congratulate you soon on a new wooden clock from Huamet? And as well congratulate you to a clear conscience and good taste? Anyway: welcome here in our shop, the home of Huamet and all the beautiful wooden clocks – welcome "dahuam" ("at home")!
